This option is open to students of BTEC National Services to People and Territories or Technician in Selling Food.
It is aimed at reinvesting in English what they have learnt during economics, history-geography and sociocultural education classes in order to be more independent during a school trip in a European country and thus to understand better what means to be a mature and responsible European citizen.
In the European section, study trips have been organized since 2011 in different European countries : in Ireland, Galway and Dublin (2011-2012), in Malta, La Valette and Gozo (2013) and in Greece, Athens and especially in the Peloponnese, Gastouni since 2014.
These one-week study trips enable students to discover the cultural and professional practices of another European country related to our subjects. It is aimed at focusing administrative, political, economic and social management of the country.
The final year students of BTEC National Services to People and Territories or Technician in Selling Food products enrolled in the European section can apply for doing their training period in Greece, in Gastouni in the Peloponnese.
In November and December 2016, one student of BTEC National Technician in Selling Food products did a one-month training period in the Proton Georgakopoulos Supermarket of Gastouni.
4 students of BTEC National Technician in Selling Food products have doing a very good training period in the AB Vassiloupoulos of Andravida in november and december 2017.
